Albert Huang is currently Vice President of the Industrial Automation group at Advantech, where he is responsible for HMI and UNO product lines. He is also in charge of integrating outside resources and assisting in the establishment of the Globally Integrated Enterprise ICOM (Industrial Communication) division with local and international partners. Additionally, he leads the Direct Marketing Force (DMF), which helps expand the market for industrial automation products in order to establish Advantech's global leading presence in this area .
Albert graduated from National Taiwan University with a degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering ; thereafter, he obtained a masters degree in Management Sciences and Decision Making at Tamkang University . Before he joined Advantech, he was a software engineer at IISI and a project manager for Industrial Automation at ANCO. Albert joined Advantech in 1996, where he led the HMI and UNO teams, and helped the integration of R&D resources. The ADAM PD (previous eAutomation PD) division he led in the past was also the division that exhibited the highest annual growth among all Advantech's product divisions. During this period Albert also learned, from his past R&D experiences, how to incorporate cutting-edge technologies to develop innovative products that meet market demands. Throughout this time, he developed all the essential knowledge required for managing products worldwide.
Albert pays attention to details, observes changes from them, and gains insights into coming marketing trends. He is open-minded for any challenges ; that is why he knows exactly what our customers want in this shifting and competitive environment. Albert is leading the eAutomation division towards even higher peaks in the future.
